The Serengeti is home to the Great Migration involving more than 2 Million animals and forms the World's Greatest Ecosystem with Masai Mara Reserve in search of fresh grazing and water. It is the greatest wildlife show on earth.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the World's largest unbroken caldera and before its volcano erupted, it housed the highest free-standing volcanic mountain in the World towering over Mount Kilimanjaro.
The Selous Game Reserve is the Biggest game reserve wildlife area in the world and the Ruaha National Park is the biggest National parks in size. Also, don't forget about Spicy Island Paradise of Zanzibar and the best spots for Scuba diving and snookering in the Island of Mafia.
Tanzania is home to three Africa's Great Lakes: Lake Victoria (World's largest fresh water lake), Lake Tanganyika (Second deepest lake in the world) and Lake Nyasa (definitely the most beautiful and with the World's highest concentration of cichlid fish species). Throw in the number of significant rivers which all flow into the Indian Ocean, and it is little wonder that this fertile country is teeming with wildlife.
